This page graphically shows the system temperature variations over time. The server contains temperature sensors located on various system components, CPU, Motherboard and one on each hard disk. The graphs below identify daily and annual temperature cycles caused mainly by natural variation in ambient temperature and local weather conditions. Variations in server workload also influence the temperatures, however to a lesser extent since the system is internally fully loaded with computationally intensive tasks running with a lower priority. The graphs also show three distinct temperature groups, the highest being Motherboard and CPU temperature, the middle group being the six disk RAID5 array, and the lower group is the pair RAID1 system disks.
